Nationally renowned. Distinctly personal.
Dr. Radhika Smith is a double board-certified colorectal surgeon dedicated to providing personalized care and surgical excellence. Her career spans over a decade of specialized practice including advanced minimally invasive laparoscopic/robotic, transanal, endoscopic, and complex open surgical techniques.
As a result of her dedication to the field of Colon and Rectal surgery, she holds the prestigious positions of being a question writer for the board certification exam as well as an oral board examiner for new colorectal surgeons seeking board certification. She has served for many years on the planning committee for the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons (ASCRS) annual national meeting as well as the ASCRS Committee on Cancer. Forever the educator, Dr. Smith currently serves as the assistant program director for the colorectal surgery fellowship at AdventHealth, and was previously the assistant program director for the colorectal surgery fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis.
Born and raised in Florida, she spent two decades away before returning to her home in 2023. When she is not in the operating room or clinic, she enjoys spending time outdoors (or indoors in the Florida summer!) with her husband and their three daughters. Or seeking the next adventure through travel or motherhood.
